What is your job and how long have you worked at Specialtees?   I am a Sales Associate, Jenaologist, Stylist and I have been working at Specialtees for 5yrs

Tell us about your personal style.  Contemporary Urban Chic! My style is all about the latest jeans and tees, and I’ll help you pair them with a blazer to instantly upscale & complete your look!

What are your favorite brands?  Michael Stars, Joe's Jeans, Crown Jewel, and any kind of denim!

What is your customer service style?  I am Specialtees very own “jeaneologist”! You bring in your body, and I’ll find you the perfect pair of jeans! Denim is all about knowing your fits, knowing the product and knowing what you will feel best in.

What do you love about working at Specialtees?  As a busy mom of three, I love that our store caters to women of every generation. My grandmother, my mom, myself and my daughters can shop here. And I love that we have the perfect mix of dressy to casual wear. Spend time with me and I’ll share how you don't have to be a fashionista to be chic. For many of our clients, their style is all about casual clothes that are functional and hip. 

 

Amy Humann

What is your job and how long have you worked at Specialtees? I am the SalesStylist, Assistant Buyer and I have worked at Specialtees for 12 years.

Tell us about your personal style.  A Fashion Chameleon! I am constantly changing up my look, constantly evolving. That's what is so great about fashion; You have free reign to look however you wish. My look can be anywhere from flowery vintage to European chic.

What are your favorite brands?  Joseph Ribkoff, Plenty by Tracy Reese, Language, DVF, and Erin Paige of course!

What is your customer service style?  A Jackie-O of all trades at Specialtees, I think my skill will always be my ability to make our customers feel special and remembered. Once I meet you, I will never forget your name, your style and your favorite fashions!

What do you love about working at Specialtees?  Rarely does one encounter a store with so much heart and soul. It has been what has kept me working here for so long! I believe that the success of a business is dependent on the experience you provide your customers. Fashions change, products change, the economy has its ups and downs, but if you provide outstanding service, it will separate you from all the rest. Our customers truly are our friends and we really do care about them and love them. It is not on any company mission statement; it is just the way we believe in being. 

 

Shannon McDaniel

What is your job and how long have you worked at Specialtees?  I am a Sales Associate, Stylist and I have worked at Specialtees for 3 years.

Tell us about your personal style.  Contemporary. My style is all about effortlessly chic. I like clean lines, comfort, and great jeans. I'm never fussy. I believe in sticking to the basics!

What are your favorite brands?  Bailey 44, Hudson denim, Tag, Ella Moss, Velvet, Joe's Jeans

What is your customer service style?  My honest approach to selling. No one benefits from a dishonest salesperson. My job is to make you look and feel fabulous. I stop at nothing to make your day!

What do you love about working at Specialtees?  I love my customers. I love the small town feeling you get in our store, and I love the personalized service we provide. Our clients experience a level of service that is completely different from walking into a department store. I also love that we offer so much variety, and dress our clients from head to toe in unique pieces you don't see everywhere.

What is your job and how long have you worked at Specialtees?  I am the Founder, Owner, Buyer and I have been with Specialtees 38 years, can you believe it?

Tell us about your personal style.  Can you believe that I really don't care about clothes? I just love helping you with yours! And I'm darn good at it too.

What are your favorite brands?  I love them all, honey. But I'm currently wearing anything by Sympli, and any sweaters or tunics by Planet.

What is your customer service style?  I have to warn you…I am famous for being crazy and loud and packing your fitting room full of amazing garments to try on! I can't help it! I just get SO EXCITED!!!

What do you love about your Specialtees?  My business began over thirty years ago as a modest t-shirt store in Moraga. Now we are an amazing large upscale boutique with two locations. What can I say about my job? It feeds my heart and soul to know so many wonderful people. I truly love what I do. Love what you do and the rest is easy.

 

Jane Sondel

What is your job and how long have you worked at Specialtees?  I am a Sales Associate, Style Psychic and I have been working at Specialtees for 1 year

Tell us about your personal style. I think my style is very basic yet chic. My favorite line is Sympli. It is so fabulous, yet comfortable. I love accessorizing my Sympli with scarves and jewelry to create instant new outfits!

What are your favorite brands? Sympli of course! I love my Sympli tunics and rapt Sympli pants with my Zzan necklaces.

What is your customer service style? I’m very good at reading a person’s style and then matching that personal style with clothes. It’s very challenging, but very fun!

What is your customer service style? I love the atmosphere at Specialtees. We have a unique environment her at Specialtees – it is warm and friendly, and makes for an unparalleled shopping experience.

What is your job and how long have you worked at Specialtees?  Sales, Stylist, at Specialtees for six months.

Tell us about your personal style.  I like simple and chic. My favorite color is black, which makes it easy. I accessorize my black with fabulous jewelry and signature makeup looks.

What are your favorite brands?  A few of my favorite brands are Sympli, Joseph Ribkoff, Deca, Vince, and Bailey 44.

What is your customer service style?  I think people respond to my no nonsense approach to selling. As a busy person, I respect the need people have to get in, get their mission accomplished, and get out. Shopping should be fun, not hard!

What do you love about working at Specialtees?  I really love my coworkers. We have a great group of girls here! My prior experience in retail was on the corporate side. I like the creative freedom and relaxed environment that Specialtees offers.

 

Phyllis Hall

What is your job and how long have you worked at Specialtees?  I am a Sales Associate, Stylist and I am a newbie to the Specialtees Family.

Tell us about your personal style.  I would describe my style as casual but feminine and romantic. I love simple pieces with unique flair. I love that this season feminine details like lace and fringe are in!

What are your favorite brands? I think Sympli and Eileen Fisher especially. Bernie Mev shoes are so comfy – The best!

What is your customer service style?  I think people like to work with me because I’m relatable and trustworthy. My ladies know they will walk away happy with their purchases.
